recent projects

These are some sketches for some paintings, but I sort of love them as things by themselves so I think I'm going to make more and see where that goes.

The series I'm working on started as an

idea about Rococo (like Fragonard's The Swing) and pushing that silliness over the edge to become grotesque. The jury is still out, they're still in the oven or whatever.

I 've been obsessing over this inbred white tiger named Kenny Rogers for a lil while. SO I'm putting him in a painting, roaming Forsyth Park (because I think he would like it?)

This last sketch is alien spaceships descending over Bonaventure Cemetery. I hope the aliens will come next year and make us all be nice to each other or something. It will be like that Mountain Goats song, Hawaiian Feeling.
